What We Do in the Summertime

It has almost been a whole month since graduation and I am tired! haha... Luke loves attention and now that I am graduated he wants more of it! :) I just love spending my time with him while Dustin works hard all day long. We are always excited when Dustin is done for the day so we can go on walks and play. Tomorrow Dustin is leaving to a Summer Leadership opportunity with PWC (an accounting firm in Phoenix.) We miss him already! Since he will be gone Grandma Jackie decided she better come up and help hold down the fort. Good thing because I don't know if I can take care of our wild yay-who all by myself. Sometimes little Luke just wants his daddy. :)
I am working on figuring out nap time... it has been quite the experience. Luke does great at sleeping through the night. But when it comes to taking naps... we struggle at communicating. These past couple days I think I have figured out his tired signals. This has helped us have much happier days! Also, my parents have a little air conditioning unit that Dustin fenegled into our kitchen window and it has made the apartment much cooler and pleasant. Maybe one day our landlord will finally hook up our swamp cooler and it will really be nice in here!
Mother's Day was absolutely wonderful! We went to my home ward for Sunday and it was Luke's first time to church in Aurora! He was just a cutie pie and slept on Dustin during sacrament, ate during Sunday School, and then just babbled during Relief Society. :) I got a pretty geranium from the ward and my mom is going to plant it in a nice pot with some forget me not flowers she got for me. They will look really pretty on our front porch! My dad got me a nice corsage to wear and Dustin got me a cookbook and a stand to hold it on. I love it! :) So once again I felt pretty spoiled. :)

Now for the pictures...

What a happy day! Yay for summer. :)
